One-liner
Observe is a single-player puzzle game where you cooperate with past versions of yourself - every completed action is recorded and replayed beside you until the impossible room solves itself.
Short description
Observe is a single-player collaborative puzzle game. Solve interconnected rooms using only your eyes: your completed actions replay beside you, letting past and future versions of yourself work together - while the rooms slowly piece together a story about regret.
Long description
Observe is a puzzle game about watching. Each room is a small machine of causes and effects that can only be understood by looking closely - and can only be solved by more than one of you. Every action you complete is recorded and replayed beside you on your next attempt, so a puzzle that seems impossible alone becomes a choreography between the you of a minute ago and the you of right now.
Plan ahead for the next replay, hand objects to a version of yourself that doesn't exist yet, and layer run after run until the whole room clicks into place. Between the puzzles, Observe quietly tells a story about regret - about the things you would do differently if you could stand beside your past self and help.
Key features
- Observation-first puzzles - solve rooms by watching and understanding, not reflexes.
- A replay system that records every completed action and plays it back beside you.
- Collaborate with parallel versions of yourself to pull off multi-step solutions.
- Interconnected puzzle rooms that build on one another.
- A quiet, unsettling story about regret, told through the rooms themselves.
